Oh you know, just WINNING at life. If you think about it, it's technically not summer yet. School didn't get out officially until Friday, and today's memorial day so everyone who does have school is out of school! And guess what!? Total number of night games accomplished: 2.
So what I've done as of now:
Watch Phantom of the Opera more than once
Visit 2 graveyards
laugh. A lot
miss a day of journal entry (mad/sad!)
start an art journal
get super psyched for GIRL'S CAMP!!!
pack for Girl's Camp
watch past Girl's Camp slideshows more than once
watch the trek slideshow from last year (sniff sniff. I miss that place)
countdown for my birthday (1 day), Girl's Camp (8 days), Youth Conference (bleeeh 17 days), and Oregon (27 days)

New Post

I was reluctant to click the new post button, but I did it. And now here I am! Summer is suh-weet. But today, I woke up at 6:00 and couldn't fall back asleep. Force of habit I guess. So the first thing I did when I woke up today, was watch Phantom of the Opera! I can't get enough. But I've only seen the 2011 version. I MUST SEE MORE.

Phantom of the Opera

Today in choir we watched part of the 25th anniversary Phantom of the Opera musical. I had never seen it. I am now a bit obsessed! Right now, as I'm attempting to do my homework I'm listening to the music in the background, AND LIFE HAS NEVER BEEN SWEETER. This day, Monday May 21st 2012, started off badly. But it got better. MUCH butter.

What time is it?

SUMMER TIME!

Why is so close, yet so far? I need summer. I need summer to be longer!

I'm very excited for night games with the wardies :), Oregon, Youth Conference, Girl's Camp (SUPER HEROES!!!), late night plays at the Scera Shell, watching outdoor movies (namely Nancy Drew, High School Musical, Indiana Jones etc etc), BYU summer soccer camp, reading lots of books, swim team, hiking, taking spontaneous pictures, biking, KFC, watermelon, cooking and sewing at G-mas, doing summer homework (ha. maybe not so much), snow cones from surf 'n' slurp (and Hokulia, dill pickle flavored), sleepovers, swimming, playing with friends, finding out my schedule, playing (and getting better at) ultimate frisbee, football, running, rolling across the park, dressing in dresses, buying dresses, going on loooots of D.I. runs with my cousies, soccer practice, being a spaz, being a dorkfork, being an awkotaco, going to the library, catching up on sleep, making smoothies, peaches, bonfires, mutual!!, and lotso more stuff. I'm hoping this summer's going to equal (or congruent) to last summer's rock o meter. The rock o meter goes to 10. Last summer was pretty much a 9.5. Sha. Because last summer... I found out my ward was pretty great. I'm pretty sure I've said that like 50 bazillion times, but it's true. You wish you were in my ward. But ever since summer has ended... my rock o meter has gone down.  

Teenager

Being a teenager's not all it's cracked up to be. Go listen to Jordan Pruitt's song Teenager. That's what I thought it'd be like. Also, go watch High School Musical. That's also what I thought it'd be like. It's not much like either of those examples. It mostly lots of homework, and trying to dress to impress. Also, looking forward to sleeping in on the weekends and summer. Also, it's spelling words ending in r with fifteen extra letters. Hairrrrrrrrrrr and summmeerrrrrrrr are totes sups adorbs. I'm awks. Awkotaco. Seeya.

My dear toe

This little piggy had no roast beef so he decided to commit suicide!

AKA the toe next to my pinky toe on my right foot is broken. No running. No kicking. No jumping. No joy.
Just kidding, there's more to life. Like food.

UNlucky

I'm probably the most unlucky person on this planet as far as 1st world countries go. Why you may ask? Because...

1. In 5th grade when we were doing European country reports (these were HUGE. Lotso work.) I got Albania because I got pulled last out of the jar of sticks.
2. Almost every single sports team I've been on, has lost every single game. (2nd grade soccer, churchball, 9th grade soccer [both teams])
3. I am the only person probably known on this planet to trip over a bookshelf, hit her head, and most likely break three of toes all at the same time.
4. I did not get into the Scera Summer Outdoor swim team, so I have join the reject list in indoor swim team. Pssssh.
5. I haven't made it into a play since 4th grade.
6. When the day came for me to get my braces off, the orthodontist told me I had to wait six more months.

How did this all come to pass? I'm blaming it on the time me and Emma decided to walk under a ladder 13 times when we were in The Music Man at the Scera.
Despite all this bad luckiness I've been contemplating lately, I think I've been winning with what I got lately.
Reasons for winning:

1. I have majorly awesome friends.
2. I'm good at math!
3. I'm not easily grossed out (I was most definitely not as grossed out as the guy who was my partner for dissecting worms today)
4. I go to Disneyland every year!
5. I'm out of reasons.

But there are more posts to come! I CANNOT WAIT FOR SUMMER.

Doing Homework

I made an agreement with myself.. I will post one blog post and then I have to complete my homework... cause I kinda have a lot. So there's like 17 days left of school. I think summer's going to be too short. And then I'll be a sophomore. WHOA there. I feel I'm getting old. I've been on a milkshake spree this week. I LOVE MILKSHAKES! So far I've made...
skinny oreo (not that good, it's trying too hard to be healthy)
VANILLA (yum yum in my tum!!)
toasted marshmallow (YES)
I just my milkshakes would actually bring the boys to the yard... bummer.
