Walking home from school today, I realized my life is great. I decided to blog about it.
First of all, I LOVE CHURCH. With ALLLL my heart and more! Sacrament Meeting is never dull with a 3-year-old little brother, and hearing ward business is so much fun for me to hear. Hymns are fun to sing (and try to harmonize to). And my family usually sits two benches behind the deacons so I love to watch the Priests bless the sacrament and then watch all the deacons disperse and pass the sacrament. They're all so small. It's a bit funny. Our speakers are almost always great and fun to listen to... and I love fast and testimony meetings (they seem to make the time go faster). After saying good bye to my family I go find all the youth in the hallway in front of the downstairs. Every week we all stand out there and talk until one of our leaders (or teachers) tell us to get to class for Sunday School. Sunday School is never boring. I swear I've been in about 5 different classes, but I love them all! I wish we could just have one big Sunday School class. I write down the funny things people say in class, and we have so much fun reading them later. After Sunday School everyone goes upstairs and visits some more, and then I go to Young Women's! Our Young Women's group is really close. Even when I was a Beehive I felt close to the Mia Maids and Laurels; they were such a good example for me! Now I 'm a Mia Maid and I still feel close to the Laurels. I don't feel as close to the Beehives as I should be, which is why this year at Girl's Camp I have to reach out! So opening exercises usually last anywhere from 5-30 minutes. Usually on the longer side. I play the piano sometimes (with many mistakes) and after a hymn, a prayer, the theme, the personal progress and a billion announcements we split up for classes. Currently in the Mia Maids we have 4 Mia Maids (3 + me! = 4) and by the end of this year we'll only have two. It's ok. I'll survive. I've been there before when I was a Beehive. Then after a lesson we usually review what's going on for mutual the upcoming week and are released! I have to then find my family and walk home.
