Dresses

Since next year I'm going to wear dresses all summer, I got obsessed and looked at a bunch. Too bad I can't afford any of them!

Sigh.

Sunshine, Lollipops, and Rainbows

Barf, barf, barf. (I almost wrote bark right there) I ate an orange juice float and waffles too close together... Sunday is my favorite day I think. Here is why:
Sacrament meeting: the YW presidency talked... Sister Cloward called us angels throughout her talk. She is the best leader I have ever had for anything!
Tressie's back! Tressie is a very nice girl. She hosted a surprise party for me when I turned 13! And she went to Arizona for like 2 months after Girl's Camp and she's back now!
Sunday School: Bahahaha! I love this class! We write down quotes every Sunday! Example:
"Have you prophesied lately Bret?" -Brother Rammell
"Little bit." -Bret
and
"The Acts just remind me of that gross spray stuff" -Kari

And then YW was replaced... because it's the 5th Sunday so all the priesthood, relief society, YM and YW were all combined and one of the brethren (I changed that from guys, brethren sounds more proper) on the stake level (I don't know his official title) anyway, his name is Brother Warner talked to us about the Constitution. Yeah. We have the best ward. (I will prove myself right if you argue with me!!)

Ribbons in my Hair. . .

Yesterday... I did a hair wrap! In my own hair! YEAHA! It's orange, green and yellow. It's fairly good, but I didn't know how to end it so I just have a little tuft of hair at the end. (It's that greenish-yellow streak in my bun right there)

Today... I got slapped by Henry (5 TIMES!! Really hard [ouch] and I also got a beach cruiser bike! It's white and yellow and has dandelions on it! I want to ride it EVERYWHERE!

Our Last Summer

That's a song title, my post title that is. From Mamma Mia: The Musical. Ok... so, I'm sitting here eating Cocoa Krispies, and Phinny is calling me to kill a spider. We flushed it down the toilet! I remember I used to be scared earwigs and spiders would come back for revenge and crawl up the toilet to bite you! That would be scary don't you think? But I digress... I've come up with a brilliant plan! Next year, I'm going to wear a dress everyday of the summer! Yes? Yes. Dresses are meant for summer! And also, I'm going to read (at least) 100 books in one year. I started this challenge on the 15th of July. Keep track of my progress in the tab over there (I'm pointing to the right in spirit)

Pioneer Day

Hello my little friendsies! Yesterday was pioneer day! A day to honor the pioneers that settled in this valley (the Provo/Salt Lake Valley) long, long ago. This summer I went on trek (a little something where you walk for 3 days straight and learn about the pioneers) in Martin's Cove, Wyoming. It was hard. I walked around 21 miles in 3 days. But yeah... I'm very grateful for the pioneers, because otherwise I wouldn't be living in this AmAzInG neighborhood! We are having the primary kids walk around the neighborhood and sing pioneer songs! I'm so excited!

P.S. It's also my cousin's birthday on pioneer day. HAPPY BIRTHDAY ABBY!! I have a present for yooou (and Paige)

What the Lick?

So yesterday, I was going to swim team. I'm not going to swimming today because it's just a swim meet, and those aren't fun. Anyway. I was thinking to myself "I should put on some sunscreen" because last week I was a really big slacker dealing with the putting on-ness of sunscreen! So I put some on, and I think I got sunburned yesterday!?! What the lick? How in the WORLD does that work? Then later, I felt really dumb. I went night-swimming with my friends last night and I was thinking "Do I need to put sunscreen on?" Then I remembered the sun was gone. Ha.

Blogs Complete Me

Most days (like today, can you tell?) I sit around waiting for people to update their blogs. Yeah. There's no updating today. So I'll just ramble for you! How's that?
     Last night was the Harry Potter 7 Pt 2 premiere at midnight. I didn't go, because my parents wouldn't take me. I am sad. Right now Phinny's standing right in front of the computer saying he's going to jump (don't worry I caught him). So yeah. I'm really bored. Tennis ended. Something happened with swim team today, and I didn't go, and I don't know if I have dance today. I HAVE NOTHING TO DO.

Tired.

May I just say... Today I had
tennis for 1 hour
swimming for 1 hour
and
dance for 1 and 1/2 hours.
ALL IN A ROW. Now if you can excuse me, I'm going to sleep.

Sunday...

I really miss Girl's Camp. It was super fun this year... and last year. And the year before that. So today it's Sunday. I'm a bit bored. Usually I don't get bored on Sundays, but as you can see: I'm bored this Sunday. Church is in an hour! I'm so excited! We didn't go (to our ward) last week because we were in Capitol Reef (though we went to the Torrey ward) so... yeah. I HAVE TO SHOW YOU Mockingjay: Barbie Edition. It's AMAZING. But it's super long.
