Last Post for Today?

Story of my life right now.
That one time Ricky and Sam stole Hannah's violin so me, Kari, Hannah, and Jacob went to go get it. Jacob climbed onto Sam's balcony and Sam's dog bit him. Then Sam got down and Ricky and Jacob tried to pull him up, but ended up laughing too hard. Then Sam stole Kari's coat and took it upstairs. Ricky put it on... (actually I think that was another time, but anywho) Then Sam put it on and came down and stood in the short section of his fence. Ricky joking he'd trade Hannah's violin for me. Me, Kari, and Hannah threatening to throw broken glass at them, but then Hannah cut her finger on the glass so her and Jacob turned on the hose to clean it off. Kari threatening to ring the doorbell to get Sam's mom to give us back Hannah's violin and Sam yelling "No no no! The doorbell doesn't work!" Then we got Hannah's violin back, but not Kari's coat. Ricky dangling Kari's coat down, but not in close enough reach so Kari had to jump for it. Then around 4:00 we got it back... walked home and stuff.
At lunch Kari, Jacob and Ricky were missing, but I knew they were laying out Jacob's plans to ask Hannah to homecoming. We (Me, Destinee, Kari, Hannah, and Michelle and maybe Tressie, I'm not sure.) walked out the door to walk home, and Hannah's name was on the sidewalk in chalk. Kari and Hannah walked in front of me, Destinee, and Michelle and I told them I knew who it was. Destinee walked home with us, ditching her car. The words from the phrase "Hannah will you go with me to homecoming?" Go was on the sidewalk part where we cross Timpview Drive so we said "We passed Go! Collect $200." Then at the Finch's house on the sidewalk was -JACOB and HOMECOMING was in the road with a bunch of arrows pointing to it and Kari said the boys added the arrows after she went back to school and they didn't (I think they went and played ping pong at Jacob's house cause Henry said they did that one time) and on the corner was "Look tires LOL" written by Kari. Then we went inside the Finch's house and Destinee left, to walk back to school and get her car and Kari told Hannah Ricky was going to ask Destinee before she had gotten asked the night before. Also Kari said they were going to ask her in the morning, but then decided not to. I think that would've been a bit awkward and inconvenient!

Dislike

The only thing I strongly dislike is giant dislike lists.
I think they're a waste of time, why do you dwell on things that make you unhappy? It's like torturing yourself! Another thing connected to this subject is Rebecca Black... (her 15 minutes of fame are kind of over, but during those minutes...) So many people waste their time watching her music video watching over and over because "It's just SO bad" and commenting on it, swearing and what-not, you know "What is this craniss?!?" but in reality, if they were asked to write a song and make a music video for it, it would be worse than hers! (At least mine would be.)
Holding grudges, also kinda fits in the same category. I have some friends that do this... it's not productive at all, it's not really destructive either. You just get stuck. I've found that holding grudges makes you unhappy overall. Life is better when you laugh most everything off. I once heard a quote ('twas on Pinterest) it went like "You never know what a girl will remember about what a guy says" I don't want to be that kind of girl! I want to be able to have to forget about something that made me mad the other day, because people don't think very long and hard about what they say. People have their own opinions and that shouldn't bother you, I think people can do what they want as long as it isn't destructive to other people.
A lot of people say I'm too nice. The reason for that is if you're mean to someone just once that day, it could push them over the edge. It could ruin their day. And I don't know about you, but I don't like it when people ruin my day. I do like it when someone makes my day.

Why Can't We Be Friends?

K. Last video I'll post for a while. But I'm so over everything...
For mutual we're going caroling!! And I'm SO excited! And after, we're gonna play SCATTER! And today I learned there's a new young woman moving into our ward!! And today I was totally bummed out, because when I went to where we meet to walk home, everyone was so happy and nice to each other, but I had to stay after school for track! And then I had to leave track early, go to a choir concert, and after that go to dance! I haven't been home all day pretty much. I'm pretty tired too.

Epiphanies

I've had several epiphanies (or is it epiphanys? whatevs.) today.

• While blog stalking, (sorry I do that) I realized that everyone has friends. It doesn't matter who they are, what they look like, or how much money they have, but they should make your life easier and they should make you happy.
• You should hear both side of a fight before judging. Really, do. Things will make so much more sense that way.
• Drama is stupid. And makes your life harder. So, do, stay away from it.
• Why I stay in the church (we talked about this in seminary, and it really got me thinking.): is that when I was smaller, my parents would make me go. Now when I don't go, I go into a deep depression that lasts until I can get to my ward again. My ward is the greatest!! The youth are so nice (except for the dramatic [I like the word dramaful better] ones) and the leaders are the best. Everyone is such a great example to me and they are my best friends. I don't know what I would do today, if in 4th grade my parents hadn't chosen to move into the house we're in today, because we really almost moved to a different house in Orem, and if they had signed the papers for that house I wouldn't have met these amazing people. I love them soooo much. They make me laugh so hard and they're so nice. I really would pretty much die without them (and my cousins). Our Young Women's leader has said several times "You're in your ward for a reason". I completely believe that.

I don't really have anything in particular to say, but I feel like I should post. So I'm posting. I really like my current friends. They're all in my ward so we do lots of stuff and they make me laugh so hard. I still miss my friends from last year... but I suppose I'll have to get over it and wait til I have classes with them next year! I say 'Hi' to like everyone I know in the halls, it feels SO good. It makes me eternally happy (until the day is over)
For Halloween I was a Ravenclaw... (I was supposed to be Luna Lovegood, but there was nothing really distinguishing about my costume) but I didn't go trick-or-treating. I'm a little obsessed with Harry Potter right now... it's the best. This picture makes me laugh

So I used to hate biology (and I don't hate a lot of things... so that's a little bit odd) I thought the teacher was awful, and the people weren't very nice, but I had a blast in that class today! We did a lab, with microscopes, and my lab partners were really nice. I'm so excited for Disneyland!!!! ONLY 4 MORE DAYS!! But I'll miss mutual, we're leaving Sunday, and going Monday, Tuesday and part of Wednesday. It's kinda a bummer, because this week I'm also missing mutual because I have a dance thing, and we're doing YW in Excellence tonight. I'm real mad. But some people I've talked to don't want to go.

Lea, Audrey, Abbie- My Edgemont buddies!! Lea's a cheerleader, and hangs out with the other cheerleaders, I never know where Audrey is and Abbie moved to California.

Micah, Sarah, Courtney, Sophie- Musical theatre last year... sigh.

And American Studies last year? I miss that. Same with Geometry. And choir (SAGE!!). And French (even though our teacher was bad, I miss Julia)

I just had to plan out my four year schedule. Not as fun as I thought it'd be.

The Cave

Caves are EVERYWHERE! (Just like chickens) the book I was just reading, had a cave in it! (Evvviiiilll cave!!) And the song I'm listening to right now, is called the cave! COINCIDENCE? I think yes. Or no. Also, in both seminary and YW we had lessons on dating... it's a sign. And in like 5 classes and in FHE we've had to make goals, another sign I believe! Wow. A lot has happened to me this term... my first term of high school is over. Sigh. I don't even know what to say!! Except that for fall break we went to Wyoming, and I missed Utah. Everyone is like "HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE!?" I dunno. Just is. And I think I just ate bologna. Blech.

SNOW! IN OCTOBER! I can see it from RIGHT HERE. Gah. My feet are wet. Also, Usually I don't get embarrassed about anything, but right now I am. I also dislike people with giant dislike lists.

My name is Isabel
I drool a lot, my favorite color is yellow, my favorite food is peanut butter, I love soccer, swimming and dance. And volleyball and basketball and Tangled is my favorite movie (I wish I could be Rapunzel). I'm also a big dork. I like to be crazy, but not at school and my cousins are some of my best friends. I wish I could go to church everyday of the week and my bestest friends from elementary school are... not really my friends anymore. My friends are in my neighborhood/ward! And I think people should lighten up! I really, really really like music. And I know everything there is to know about Disneyland. And sometimes I can't stop talking. Usually that's in PE or on the way to a soccer game.

So I'm Sitting Here...

Trying to think why there's drops of spit on the desk... I just realized it's coming off my ring pop! Oops! So yesterday... was my last soccer game. We technically lost... but the refs weren't making good calls so we had 2 penalty shots on us! Psh.... I'm saying we won, but I really am going to miss my team. I already miss them! SNIFF.
I really love General Conference... and there's going to be a new temple in Provo! I'M SO EXCITED!!!

Oh Goodness!

How time flies... can I tell you something? I'm a dork. Yesterday, we went to a chilean restaurant after school... and I dropped my empanadas. On the floor (5 second rule). But I laughed at myself! A lot. Also yesterday... I grunted when I kicked the soccer ball and afterwards I said "Oh! That was a funny noise!" and laughed at myself. At least I can laugh at myself! ALSO I LOVE VOLLEYBALL! And soccer, and swimming... and lots of other stuff. I really like sports right now! Except I can't throw a frisbee, no frisbee. And little football. Not much, little. I have to go write 3 more pages in my journal! Ta ta!

P.S. Tis hard to listen to the Biebs when the rest of your family hates it.

Yesterday

I wrote 3 pages full of ramblings in my journal yesterday... mostly filled with funny things that happened at school or night games!
And tonight I have a soccer game! Our team name: The Marinated Steaks. Oh yes! Cami came up with that name. Two games ago... Cami was playing goalie and broke her finger. Twas sad. I got something burned off the back of my knee today! So fun! I can't walk without that leg hurting! Time for dinner! Ta ta!

I make a mistake and post on my old blog. FRUSTRATION. How do teenagers stay up so late? All my friends are always like "I stayed up til 2:00 doing homework!" Don't call me weird... just kidding, call me weird, because...

1. I don't like staying up late

2. I don't like sleeping in

3. I don't like sleeping at all (the only reason I do it is because it's required)

4. I like the crust on bread (it's the best part!!)

5. While everyone's at the stake dance on New Year's, I'll be at my grandma's receiving nasty presents from D.I. TRADITION!

P.S. I really like soccer. A lot. Like a lot a lot. And P.E.'s not too shabby either!

K K K K K so...

Today I had english. Yeah man. And Biology. No, man I still really dislike that class (but the teacher actually knows my name!! COOL.) and Seminary. I have THE best seminary class ever. And Computer Tech. People went and got donuts... but I didn't have any money, so I didn't get a donut. Sad. But yesterday Tressie bought me (and Kari, Hannah and Michelle) a milkshake, and a caramel. She's super nice! Well, our whole ward-group-thingy is. I remember... when I used to spell caramel, carmel. But apparently it's spelled "caramel" I think that's a loser way to spell it. Carmel is better.

A Spoonful of Sugar!

So... The last two days have been kinda busy. On Friday I had a soccer game, and went to see Mary Poppins right after that all the way in Salt Lake! But it was such a good show. Then Saturday Abby (ma cousine) invited me to a Jon Schmidt piano concert! That was really good too. And I had a lot of fun. Well then... I should probably catch up on my 30 day challenge? Yes.

Day SIX!- Favorite Superhero and Why

Ok. This is legitimate. I looked up "List of Superheroes" and he was on it. SO, Mickey Mouse! He's amazing! He can brighten up anyone's day, and he started a whole string of great stuff.

However, if you wanted me to "choose a real superhero" because Mickey Mouse technically doesn't have his own comic book... I would say Aquaman. Because he looks good on t-shirts ;)

Items of Business

ANOTHER POST! Yes! Lucky you! So let me tell YOU about my weekend! Friday, we went up to Sister Cloward's cabin, and we basically played around (we played Mafia til 12:00 MIDNIGHT!!) and then I did NOT have a good night sleep. And then we went home. I took a nap. That never happens. Then I went to a multi-stake dance! Cause I'm 14 man!! It was loud. I could hear it from my backyard like 3 blocks away. Yeah. Then TODAY, I called my cousins Abby and Paige, who did not pick up! AND THEN I went to the mall with my brother Henry and ma mere. I got a shirt! But last night I had a dream that I had $1,000 to spend. It was so nice, and I was kinda hoping it would come true. P.S.

I just had to post again. School starts in one week and one day. I had no idea it was that close. EEP.

The Puzzle...

So a few days ago, I got my technology privileges taken away, so I started a puzzle! It was a Mickey Mouse puzzle, made up of a bunch of littler pictures from cartoons. It took me FOUR hours to get the border and a smidget of the middle done, so today I was playing video games downstairs and mom calls down to me "Did you take apart your puzzle?!" I said no. That would be LUDICROUS! Phinny took apart my puzzle. BLARGH!! Time to spend ANOTHER four hours putting it together again... Oh well. Forgive and forget.

School, is like a mule... slow. And gray. But I've decided this year I'm going to be MOI's self. Last year... that was B.A.D. Batty and dreadful. Yeah man. Let me quote this lovely paragraph, written by my friend Abby, and tell you what I think.

"Doesn't it feel like school just barely ended and now it's going to start again?!"

Pretty much.

I am. SO RESTLESS. With my schedule. It's ridiculous. I really want sewing, french, sign lang., drama, AND choir but that's too much. Sooooo I dunno what to do. Currently I have choir, sign lang., and sewing. But I'll probably change it again. Now if you'll excuse me... I have nothing to do. But I'm going shopping with my cousins, Abby (WHO wrote that paragraph I quoted) and Paige, this week! (Hopefully)

Dresses

Since next year I'm going to wear dresses all summer, I got obsessed and looked at a bunch. Too bad I can't afford any of them!
